Privacy Controls for Contact and Profile Sharing
Beeprd is designed to make professional sharing easier without forcing the same information to every audience.
Visibility layers
Beeprd can use visibility tiers such as:
- Public
- Subscribers
- Trusted
- Private
What can be visibility-controlled
Depending on the profile setup, this can include:
- Full name
- Headline
- Bio
- Location
- Contact email
- Contact phone
- Address card details
- Links
Why use layered visibility
Layered visibility helps you stay discoverable without exposing every field to every visitor.
For example:
- A public visitor may need enough information to trust the profile.
- A subscriber may get more context.
- A trusted relationship may see direct contact fields.
Best practice
Keep public details useful but selective.
Use subscriber/trusted visibility when:
- a field is personally identifying beyond what is needed
- a contact path should be reserved for warmer relationships
- a link should not be open to all public visitors
Related note on paid sections
Some public-profile sections are paid features, but privacy settings still apply independently of plan level.
